Walkabout Farm currently has a flock of 110 ewes, which are raised on pasture in the summer and fed hay in the winter. We have recently started milking our sheep flock and with the help of the Thunder Oak Cheese Farm, have begun making our own sheep milk cheeses. We currently produce a gouda style cheese, The Walkabout (similar to a swiss cheese) and a feta style cheese. We are in plans to build our own processing facility and develop even more delicious sheep milk products!!
